The Bulgarian intelligence officer Emil Boev, after numerous tests and trials wins the trust of the leaders of the western intelligence service. He finds out that the mission is to transport a huge amount of heroine with a Bulgarian cargo ship. The mission is stopped at the last moment, but Boev is uncovered. He must make his choice - serve the western intelligence service or get the bullet. Naturally, the Bulgarian intelligence officer chooses the latter, but a moment before the death sentence is carried out, he is saved by the Bulgarian secret service.
