Two long-time friends Gretchen (Jennifer Blair-Bianco) and Noah (Michael Koltes) decide to relaunch their restaurant, The Boston, to keep up with the upscaling neighborhood. With the business prowess of their friend Gregory Morrison (David Bianco) and the financial support of their college friend Julia Adams (Natalia Moon), Gretchen and Noah's plan seems to be taking shape, until Gretchen's family suffers a life-changing tragedy. Juggling the Boston's stressful transition, a heart-breaking love triangle, and her family's increasingly desperate needs, Gretchen loses almost everything trying to keep her life together.
