Symphonie

This "Dynasty" style drama series focuses on a Swiss family clan owning a nearly bankrupt watch manufacture. Constance Dussault is the iron matriarch who fights against the intriguing Jean-Claude, husband of daughter Nicole, to save her enterprise. Her other daughter Jacqueline suffers under her broken marriage with star conductor Bruno Steinberg who has an affair with the attractive Italian Alessandra Thesis. After Jacqueline dies mysteriously, Constance discovers another connection between Alessandra and her family. Furthermore, housekeeper Sophie and Jean-Claude's brother Marcel try to get a big piece of the Dussault cake and do everything to get it.
