Thomas Melville is the creator of Osmosis, an Internet dating site that uses an algorithm to guarantee that clients find their soul mates. His shining example is his brother Paul, who's been with his match Elsa for four years. But Paul is having doubts. What if the "matching" is all phoney? He's been feeling less sure since coming across an old photo of his first love, Elisabeth, who disappeared without a trace four years ago.
