Where the Red Buds Grow

Coming of age story that deals with the sensitive subject of childhood sexual abuse. Wood revisits his past to discover Lil' Muh, his long lost grandmother, and Dave, his childhood friend, living at the ranch where Daddy Hank, his grandfather, had abused him as a child in the shed. Wood discovers that his old familiar stories have haunted and chained him to live out a life of suffering through addiction and "cutting". As he reignites his relationship with Dave, he is able to heal and find love and the truth with Lil' Muh that sets him free.
