Rise from the Opioid Ashes is the 5th film in the MAGA Film chronicles from filmmaker Joseph F. Alexandre. It explores the devastation wrought by the opioid crises from a personal perspective in the form of Davis Bartels, whose brother Dylan died of an overdose, and overcame his own crippling addiction to become one of the most successful real estate salesmen in Ventura County, CA. Through interviews with family and friends, as well as experts on the pharmaceutical Industries' culpability in the crisis that just took the lives of over 100K US citizens. Rise... will be able to put a fresh perspective on this crisis in the context of this crisis in the MAGA phenomenon as many of the Midwest battle ground states were hit the hardest by the epidemic.
