New York: Broken City

After being locked in their NY flats for over two months, filmmakers Marco and Mauro La Villa decided to take a walk across the Brooklyn bridge to see what was left of Manhattan. Deserted and decimated due to covid lockdowns and BLM protests, the La Villa brothers found a 'plywood city' in shambles. "NEW YORK: BROKEN CITY" allows the audience to wander through the 'broken city' in stark clarity through the lenses of Marco and Mauro La Villa's cameras as it looks for answers amidst what can only be described as the aftermath of pure chaos and madness.
