In Biarritz, while summer crowds flood the coastline and the sun scorches the boardwalks, reinforcements arrive from across France to back up the local police. Among them is Alex, a Parisian cop with a smile that hides more than it reveals. He signed up for this seaside assignment under the pretense of chasing sun and surf-but his real reasons are far less carefree. Partnered with an assembled unit of voluntary from all corners of the country, Alex is pulled into a murky investigation. What starts as a simple case of fraudulent vacation rentals soon unravels into something far more sinister. As the festive nights blur into tense stakeouts and whispered threats, the summer task force walks a tightrope between cocktails and crime scenes.
