Hayley and Ted have a picnic in the middle of the night in the atrium of the Capwell villa. Gus is arrested and driven to the police station. Caroline and Lionel arrive to look after Alice, who proclaims her father's innocence. Lionel asks Caroline to be a little distant with Alice. Mason and Cruz ask Eden to listen to a voice recording, it is Gus's voice. Eden remains definite: she recognises Gus's voice as being that of her attacker. Julia takes care of Gus's defence and reassures Alice on the fact that she thinks he is innocent. Cruz also doubts Gus's guilt. He insists for Eden to be sure so that she does not accuse him wrongly.
